Introduction to the use of disposable flushing suction device

1、 Preparatory work

1. Unpack. Unpacking shall be carried out in the operating room according to the aseptic operation procedures. The nurse shall tear the paper plastic bag from the handle position, disassemble the PE bag, and expose the handle for the surgeon to take.

2. Normal saline bag connection. Tear the connecting tube gently from the middle, insert a bottle and needle into the normal saline bag. The nurse should determine the capacity of the normal saline bag according to the actual needs of the operation. Generally, 500ml specification is used. If the operation time is long and there are many bleeding, larger specification and multiple normal saline bags can be used.

After connection, release the liquid stop clamp, press and hold the green button (flushing valve) of the product to fill the whole pipeline with normal saline.

3. Negative pressure aspirator connection. Connect the connector of this product to the negative pressure aspirator in the operating room, adjust the negative pressure to 450mmHg (0.06mpa), press the white button, if you hear the "hiss" sound of attracting air, it indicates that the connection has been successful

2、 Intraoperative irrigation and aspiration

The main function of disposable flushing drainage tube (Flushing aspirator) is to clean the surgical field. Therefore, flushing and suction are the two most important actions in the use of this product.

If it is found that an operation area affects the operator's vision, it must be cleaned. Immediately align the metal flushing straw with the operation area, press and hold the green button, and the normal saline will flow to the operation area by natural gravity. With the continuous rise of the liquid level, the operator can release the green button after he thinks that the area has been rinsed, and the flushing operation will stop.

Then, the suction operation is carried out. Stretch the metal pipe below the liquid level, press and hold the white button (suction valve), and the liquid will be quickly sucked away. When all the liquid is sucked clean, release the white button to stop suction. Special attention should be paid here. After the liquid is completely absorbed, the white button should be released immediately. Do not pump excessively, otherwise the pneumoperitoneum will be sucked less, which will affect the continuity of the operation.
