Timing and method of extubation for thoracic puncture

Place 5 ~ 6 layers of sterile Vaseline gauze on the gauze and cotton pad, disinfect the wound, remove the suture, ask the patient to hold his breath after deep inhalation and quickly pull out the drainage tube. The wound shall be covered and wrapped with prepared dressing immediately. The dressing shall be strictly prevented from shifting and falling off within 24 hours. The pulmonary respiratory sound shall be routinely auscultated before and after extubation.
