Application method of disposable pneumoperitoneum needle

1. Before use, confirm whether the matched instruments and accessories are matched, and select the corresponding model of pneumoperitoneum needle according to the patient's surgical needs.

2. Open the sterile package and take out the pneumoperitoneum needle.

3. Make a longitudinal or arc-shaped 1cm small incision at the puncture point.

4. During puncture, the patient lies on his back, clamps the fascia and skin with two towel pliers on both sides of the puncture point, fully lift the abdominal wall, gently hold the needle with his thumb and index finger, try to be close to the needle tip, insert it with force from the wrist, and puncture the pneumoperitoneum into the abdominal cavity.

5. Connect the pneumoperitoneum needle to the inflation catheter of the pneumoperitoneum machine, open the valve body and fill CO₂ into the abdominal cavity. Generally, the working pneumoperitoneum pressure of the laparoscope is 12-15mmhg

6. After reaching the preset pneumoperitoneum pressure and establishing artificial pneumoperitoneum, pull out the pneumoperitoneum needle for follow-up operation.
